Pues aunque en un borrador previo, Tolkien escribe que Sauron entregó los nueve anillos a los nazgul para la Guerra, en esdla se dice que los nueve anillos los tenía Sauron en su poder. De hecho, Merry no recoge el anillo del Rey Brujo por la simple razón de que el Rey Brujo no lo llevaba puesto......
