Tomando ESDLA en ingles,en los apendices se dice:
"Thus they roused from sleep a thing of terror that, flying from Thangorodrim, had lain hidden at the foundations of the earth..."
Por lo tanto,si se vuela se tiene que tener alas.Ahora me pongo a pensar que si tenia alas y podia volar,porque no volo al caer al abismo??
Supongo que no pudo mientras luchaba con Gandalf.No se....
