Es más, en las mismas Cartas se explica que hay un momento de la historia en el que, por culpa de Sam, Gollum vence definitivamente a Smeagol; pero de no haber sido así, Smeagol habría ayudado fielmente a Frodo hasta el final, momento en el que tampoco podría haberse resistido al pode...

¡Cuánta información me estoy perdiendo! Siempre me había preguntado qué habría pasado en el caso de que Gollum no se hubiera sobrepuesto a Smeagol. Pero, en tal caso ¿se habría atrevido a pasar por Cirith Ungol? Tampoco es que tuviera muchas más posibilidades, la verdad, Mordor no es el lugar más accesible de la TM :P.
