Nuestros amigos y compañeros de TheOneRing.net, la web más conocida mundialmente acerca (sobre todo) de las películas de El Señor de los Anillos y El Hobbit, y también fuente y distribuidora de noticias acerca del mundo de J.R.R. Tolkien, están de celebración: ¡¡Hoy cumplen 10 años!! El 26 de abril de 1999 nació, de la mano de Xoanon, Tehanu, Calisuri y Corvar (a quienes envío un fuerte abrazo desde aquí), un pequeño sitio web que pretendía dar noticias periódicamente sobre esa trilogía de películas basadas en El Señor de los Anillos, que tanto llamaba la atención.
Desde todo el mundo están recibiendo felicitaciones, siendo bastante especial ésta que han enviado desde Weta, en la que se puede ver a Richard Taylor y su equipo, acompañados nada menos que de Guillermo del Toro, quien además les felicita en nuestro idioma.
Así pues, hoy nos sumamos a esta celebración. ¡Cantemos todos!

Maybe not the darkest, but your road has been the longest, I can say. I want to thank you personally for what you`ve meant for all us fans of The Lord of the Rings and J.R.R. Tolkien. My website started some few months after yours (11th october, the same day the shooting begun), but I couldn`t have made it without you and TheOneRing.net help. Now I remember the first e-mail I received from Tehanu, in Spanish!, wishing us the best luck with our website... It is impossible not to love you all, guys.

For all this, for your devotion, for your help, for being there... for everything, I wish you a happy happy happy birthday today. And for all the years to come I wish you the best luck in your life, and whatever you may wish come true if that makes you happier!

Aunque, ahora que lo pienso, elfenomeno.com también cumplirá 10 años en octubre :O Y yo misma hice el otro día ¡¡¡¡7 años!!! en la web
